Treatments must not be performed in the following cases or should only be undertaken after prior consultation with a qualified practitioner:

• during or following immunosuppressive therapy;

• age under 18 years;

• tendency to form keloids or fibrotic scars;

• use of steroid medications;

• use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs);

• vaccination within the last 30 days;

• COVID-19 vaccination within the last 3 months;

• chronic diseases;

• connective tissue disorders;

• oncological (cancerous) diseases;

• autoimmune diseases;

• presence of a pacemaker, metal implants, insulin pump, or other medical devices (requires consultation with the practitioner);

• heart disease;

• cardiac insufficiency classified as at least NYHA II;

• ischaemic heart disease classified as at least CCS II;

• active herpes infection;

• use of anticoagulant medications;

• use of anti-inflammatory drugs (before or during microneedling or mesotherapy treatments);

• thin or atrophic skin (before thread implantation);

• use of herbal supplements (should be discontinued at least 30 days before treatment);

• recent dermabrasion (within 14 days prior to treatment);

• laser or chemical peel treatment (within 30 days prior to treatment);

• recurrent tonsillitis;

• acute rheumatic joint inflammation;

• skin diseases; • regular use of anticoagulants; • daily use of coagulants;

• oral corticosteroid therapy;

• pregnancy or breastfeeding; • bacterial, fungal, or viral skin infections; • epilepsy;

• body dysmorphic disorder (mental health condition involving dissatisfaction with one’s appearance);

• uncontrolled diabetes; • active rosacea;

• purulent (infected) skin lesions;

• heavy smoking or significantly low body weight; • psoriasis or eczema;

• allergy to any of the treatment products;

• blood clotting disorders;

• tendency to bruise easily;

• skin graft (within the past 6 months);

• ablative laser treatment (within 6–15 months);

• other aesthetic medical procedures (within the last 30 days);

• non-ablative laser treatment (within 4 weeks);

• use of retinoids or photosensitising herbs (should be discontinued at least 14 days before laser therapy);

• dermal fillers (within 4–8 weeks prior);

• hypersensitive skin;

• alcohol consumption (within 48 hours before treatment);

• thread implantation (within the last 30 days);

• use of oral retinoids or derivatives (e.g. Isotretinoin, Roaccutane, Adapalene, Differin, Accutane) — contraindicated during treatment and up to 6 months after completion;

• shaving (within 24 hours before treatment) or hair removal (within 30 days prior);

• tanorexia (addiction to tanning) or active tanning (within 30 days prior);

• sensory disturbances;

• unrealistic expectations regarding treatment outcomes;

• severe liver or kidney disease;

• hypersensitivity to benzoic acid, soya, or vitamins E or B.
