* Shea butter is a high-quality, excellently tolerated, versatile raw material. Due to the proportion of unsaponifiables, the lipid barrier is strengthened and this butter is therefore predestined for the treatment of dry, neurodermitic and barrier-disturbed skin. It is very well tolerated and can also be used pure. In formulations, it provides consistency and results in smooth creams that are very well absorbed.
* Arnica macerated oil is primarily known for its soothing and regenerating benefits. Especially recommended as a massage oil before or after a physical effort to warm up or relax the muscles, this oil also helps to stimulate circulation (useful in case of heavy legs) and promote the recovery process. Applied to the face, it will help relieve skin irritations or redness. Arnica is used topically for a wide range of conditions, including bruises, sprains, muscle aches, wound healing, superficial phlebitis, joint pain, inflammation from insect bites, and swelling from broken bones. More recent studies suggest it may also be helpful in the treatment of burns.
* Jojoba oil is actually a melt-in-the-mouth wax known for its moisturising and nourishing properties. It is particularly effective for oily and irritated skin. The mixture of provitamin A, B vitamins and natural vitamin E makes jojoba oil an effective antioxidant that has a stabilising effect on the skin’s protective barrier and protects against environmental influences. The high proportion of eicosenoic acid of over 70% ensures well-cared for skin and gives it noticeably more elasticity and resilience.
* Due to its skin-firming properties, the light Apricot kernel oil is wonderfully suitable for the care of the face, neck and décolleté. It is absorbed quickly and is very well tolerated. It supports the skin’s moisture balance, especially when applied to skin that is still slightly damp. The oil revitalises the skin and thus maintains its elasticity. Apricot kernel oil also supports cell renewal and stimulates the skin’s metabolism.
* Avocado oil is obtained by pressing the pulp of the ripe avocado pear. The fat pressed oil is green to reddish-brown in colour. Cloudiness or flaking may occur even at room temperature. This is a normal process for this oil and does not represent a reduction in quality. It contains vitamins A, B, D and E. This supports the cell structure and regeneration of the skin. The natural antioxidants make the oil even more valuable. A special feature of avocado oil is the high content of “unsaponifiables”. These substances are considered to be of decisive importance for skin care. It is a very good oil for creams, especially for dry, rough and flaky skin, it is an important base oil.
* Rosehip oil is a precious seed oil that is dermatologically very valuable. It is very easily absorbed by the skin and does not leave an irritating oil film on the skin. Rosehip oil helps the skin to retain its natural moisture by protecting against water evaporation. Rosehip oil regenerates, nourishes and smoothes the skin. In combination with vitamin A acid, it works very well on burns, lightens pigment spots, and excellently accelerates the regression of scars (even older scars). It is also used to alleviate couperose, acne and psoriasis, as well as sore baby and children’s skin. Due to the high content of vitamin E in the plant, it acts as a radical scavenger and thus counteracts skin and organ ageing as well as the rapid formation of wrinkles in the Skin.
* Prickly pear seed oil reduces the appearance of fine lines, helps prevent premature wrinkle formation, brightens dark under-eye circles, calms redness, helps relieve sunburn, and brightens and evens complexion. The vitamin E found in prickly pear seed oil is the highest of any plant oil on the market (3 times higher than argan oil). Prickly pear seed oil is also very high in linoleic acid (an essential fatty acid), which is proven to lighten sun-induced hyper-pigmentation, protect the skin barrier, lower water loss, and increase moisture. Include Vitamin K, which helps brighten under-eye circles, even out skin tone and reduce broken capillaries, and zinc, which helps reduce redness and inflammation of acne lesions and decrease oil production. It’s also high in phytosterols, especially beta-sitosterol, which provides antioxidants and antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The combination of phytosterols and natural essential fatty acids works well for anti-aging concerns and encourages new collagen production.
* Squalane is a natural hydrocarbon obtained from the unsaponifiable portion of olive oil. It serves as a valuable skin care base. Squalane protects the skin from moisture loss, makes it soft and supple and thus improves the structure of the natural lipid film. Because of its excellent penetration properties, squalane is used, among other things, as a carrier for active ingredients. In cosmetics, vegetable squalane is mainly used as a fast spreading, oxidation-stable and non-irritant lipid in skin emulsions, sun care products, foundations and hair care products. Squalane, vegetable is recommended by BDIH, Ecocert and Natrue for use in “green cosmetics”. Our product has a squalane content of at least 92% and is obtained 100% exclusively from olive oil.
* Chia seed CO2 extract offers a higher content of over 60% omega-3 (ALA = alpha-linolenic acid) than cranberry seed oil with about (30-35%). With such high contents of ALA, the pressed oil could of course only be used fresh. The CO2 extract, on the other hand, is much more stable. In cosmetics for skin and hair care products due to the high concentration of alpha linolenic acid, which helps retain moisture levels in skin and hair, protecting against dehydration and peeling of the skin. Also used in anti-ageing creams and anti-dermatitis formulations.
* Vitamin E is an oil-soluble antioxidant that protects oils and butters from oxidation.
Thanks to the balanced content of tocopherols with different activities, it also provides additional antioxidant protection for the skin.
